LARGE format tiles are our speciality

TouchStoneTiles are composed of a mix design developed over many years including natural materials such as limestone, quarts with white cement as the binder. Large slabs are formed in special moulds, which are then subjected to a process of high-frequency vibration. This causes the finest particles to gravitate to the bottom of the mould, forming the unique surface which combines a surprising hardness with low porosity and high resistance to abrasion and wear.   In fact, the Robinson Floor test, designed to measure the suitability of materials in commercial situations, gives our tile a classification of HEAVY COMMERCIAL. Furthermore, foot traffic and general maintenance help improve the hardness and provide a natural patina.

The large slabs are subsequently cut and calibrated to size.

TouchStoneTiles contain no resins or artificial materials and are not baked or autoclaved, hence, are gentler on our environment. They cure naturally continuing to strengthen and harden over many year.
